CNC Machining Basic Certificate

Program Description
The Basic Certificate (BC) in Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machining consists of six classes that total 16 credit hours. Students will earn nationally recognized credentials from the National Institute for Metal Working Skills(NIMS) and the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC) certifications. The certificate was developed in conjunction with private sector manufacturing employers and will prepare the student for a position as a CNC Machine Operator. Completers can advance to the Advanced certificate program or associates of applied science program.
