Program Description

The Networking Technology Basic Certificate program prepares students for entry-level positions as technicians and help desk specialists in small to mid-size companies. Students acquire knowledge of networking principles and practices based on industry standards. Knowledge gained includes setup of networking equipment, maintenance of hubs, switches and routers. Those students who incorporate software concepts are better able to secure employment with 3 stackable 4 certifications such as A+ MOS, and CCNA.
