This program provides experience which enable students to develop competencies necessary for employment in and/or continued education in welding. Emphasis throughout the program is place on developing skills in the following areas: safety, metal identification, oxy-acetylene welding, metal cutting processes, shielded metal arc welding, gas metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, and blueprint reading.
