Program Description
The Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A Training Program is designed for individuals with little or no commercial driving experience the CDL Training Program trains students for entry level employment as commercial motor vehicle operators for local or long-distance driving, In partnership with the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), this program prepares students to obtain a Commercial Driver's License from the Illinois Secretary of State.

Application Procedure
Upon registration students must be at least 21 years of age and a valid drivers license. Students must also be prepared to take and successfully pass an Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) physical exam, drug screen. Additionally, students must have a court approved Motor Vehicle Report (MVR). MVRs can be obtained from the Illinois Secretary of State. The maximum tuition and fees amount approved for this occupation is $5,000.
