Program Description

One year program designed for qualified professionals seeking a sonography credential. Through classroom and clinical education, the student will learn to perform general sonographic procedures by integrating their knowledge of anatomy, physiology, physics, and instrumentation. A point of empahsisis the gathering of pertinent history and other clinical data in order to present diagnostic quality images and other information to the physician for diagnosis. Graduates will be prepared to complete the national certifiaction exam and qualify for employment in a variety of health care settings.
