Illinois is launching IWDS 2.0, a modernized case management system designed to support a consistent, statewide customer-centered service delivery approach. The new platform simplifies workflows, enhances data reliability, and improves the experience for both staff and participants.
WIOA Title I and Trade programs will transition to IWDS 2.0 on July 1, 2026. The current IWDS will remain active through June 30, 2026, with all data migrated prior to launch.

The Illinois Workforce Summit is an annual gathering focused on enhancing workforce development throughout the state by fostering collaboration, innovation, and a shared purpose. Grounded in the collaborative principles of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), the Summit aims to provide local core partner staff and board members with practical guidance on service delivery and system integration.
