Effingham County Chamber of Commerce Presentation
Effingham County Manufacturing Day exposes high school juniors and seniors with the unique and innovative manufacturing businesses that operate in Effingham County. Students from various high schools in a 4-county area join together to tour two manufacturing plants (a total of 12 manufacturers participate) are offered plant tours and then come together at lunch to learn more about how to obtain a job in a manufacturing plant through job hack booths and trivia questions. Nearly 300 students participate annually.
