Each year, the Illinois State Fair Twilight Parade marches proudly through Springfield, announcing the ten day annual showcase of Illinois Agriculture and unique entertainment. This year, the gates open at 7:00 a.m. with the parade beginning on August 12th at 5:30 p.m.
Admission to the fairgrounds is $5.00 for Adults, $3.00 Seniors and Children ages 12 and under are free on Preview Night. All carnival rides, including those in Adventure Village, will be open by 5:00 p.m. and offered at a discounted price. There is something for both young and old in the parade – from marchers to riders on horseback and you too can be a part of the fun.
