Hardhat in Hand Program Info Session

Facebook is building the infrastructure that connects billions of people around the world. Facebook, together with its construction partners, is launching the Hardhat in Hand program, hands-on training aimed at developing the skill and workplace knowledge for individuals interested in learning about the construction industry.
The Hardhat in Hand (HHH) Workforce Development Program features:
• 8-week on-site construction training program
• 4-weeks classroom instruction
• 4-weeks on-the-job training
• Program participants will earn an hourly wage
• Union career opportunities
• Program to be offered at; DeKalb Data Center
The primary focus of this program is to recruit and introduce individuals to the construction trades and to provide them with fundamental knowledge relevant to various construction trade occupations. All participants who successfully complete the program requirements will have entry-level skills and workplace knowledge necessary to either become employable, enroll with an apprenticeship, or continue their education.
