Hope Center Foundation offers a Gun Violence Prevention Program that specifically serves low-income young adults ages 18-32 who reside in Chicago’s far southside community, including Roseland, Pullman, West Pullman, Washington Heights, and surrounding neighborhoods. The program is funded by Cook County Justice Advisory Council.

 

Details about the Program:

• 12-Week Program- 3 Days per week

• Career Readiness Training: Resume Building, Mock Interviews, Job Skills

• Peace Circles and Restorative Justice

• Violence Prevention Training

• Certifications: Six Sigma White Belt, Employment 101, Advanced Certifications

• Participants Receive stipends =Earn up to $1,200 for participation

• Transportation Assistance (Bus Cards)

• Gun Buy Back Events

• Counseling and Mentorship

• Leadership Training

• Job Placement Assistance
