If you are an Afghan in the second stage of your resettlement and integration experience, you are invited to the Afghan Support Center in Chicago’s no-cost event to connect to public health, education, legal assistance, employment, social services, housing, and other services to make the United States your home. You will have an opportunity to talk with staff from government agencies (United States, State of Illinois, and Chicago) and a variety of service providers.

 

Services and Resources Available (at no cost):

• U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)

• Legal Assistance

• Housing Assistance

• Employment Assistance

• Medical Assistance

• Food Assistance

• Adult Education

• School Enrollment

• Mental Health Counseling

 

This event will provide valuable information and resources to support your American integration journey.

• Dedicated Prayer Area

• Interpretation provided in Dari and Pashto onsite.

• Child Play Space Available

• Transportation Will Be Provided.
