Description

The Illinois Fire Service Institute (IFSI) is hosting four Discover IFSI events to inspire youth to pursue a career in the fire service. Similar to the purpose of a college visit day, Discover IFSI programs will include:

 ·      Information on how to become a firefighter in Illinois

·        Guided Tours of a fire training facility

·        Up-close observations of live fire and technical rescue fire training

This program is free and also includes personal interactions with experienced fire service personnel who will provide valuable insights into the career and how IFSI can assist individuals aspiring to join the profession.
