The past year has seen dramatic clean
energy policy changes, from federal tax credit rollbacks to the passing of a
sweeping new energy bill in the state of Illinois. What will be the impact of
these changes on the clean energy workforce and the CEJA programs that are
building this workforce? In this presentation, we'll discuss trends in clean
energy job growth since CEJA passed in 2021. We'll identify high-growth sectors
where workforce programs should focus their efforts and explore whether CEJA investments
are leading to quality jobs. Finally, we'll discuss how federal and state
policy changes are expected to impact the clean energy workforce in the future.
