CDL 160 Hour Class A Premium Truck Driving Course

Program Description

This program consits of 160 hours divided into four weeks. These hours are representative of what the state of Illinois requires to obtain a CDL license. The program includes 20 hours of maneuvers (skills) inside the training yard, 20 of hours of training on the Road and 20 hours of observation inside the vehicle. All the endorsements available to CDL drivers are included into this course. We also cover the cost of fingerprints for the Hazmat endorsement. Acapulco Truck Driving School LLC is certified by the Secretary of State of Illinois. We work closely with our students to develop their job seeking skills and support their employment search on an ongoing basis after they graduate. We provide retesting and training if necessary so long as the student attends all scheduled training and is showing progress towards graduating.

Application Procedure

Seek a local WIOA agency and once their requirements are met. The student must visit at least 2 CDL schools. Once the student selects a school they will inform their career coaches. The coach requests a voucher from the WIOA program and once it is received they contact the school who will in turn register the student. The maximum tuition and fees amount for this occupation is $5,000.
