    WIOA Summit Success Illinois workNet Featured Events

    WIOA Summit LogoThe 2017 WIOA Summit was an exciting time for workforce and education to come together for collaboration and community. The event was hosted by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, Illinois Community College Board, Illinois Department of Employment Security, Illinois Department of Human Services, and other Regional and Local WIOA partners.  Illinois workNet had several featured events at the Summit.     Work Readiness Assessment Tools and the Illinois Essential Employability Skills Self-Assessment

    Learn about new assessment tools developed to help your customers make smart, informed career choices. The resources presented in this session will include self-assessments for individuals; guides to exploring skills and interests; training and educational information on employability skills; and tools to build pre-employment skills like preparing a resume, interviewing techniques, searching for jobs, and finding work support services.

    Illinois workNet Customer Support Center = Customer Centered Tools

    The Illinois workNet Customer Support Center is a set of tools used by customer-focused teams to guide and engage customers in exploring, planning, and training to help them meet their employment goals. The tools provided include a set of work readiness and support service assessments, career planning tools, a resume builder, and a communication system.

    Take advantage of the no-cost outreach tools Illinois workNet has to offer!
