Thursday, July 19th is the College Changes Everything Conference. Started by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC), this annual conference is an opportunity for individuals to share how their college or higher education experience has made a lasting and positive impact in their lives. The conference will provide presentations about resources that are available to increase educational access and college completion for students in Illinois. Illinois hopes to increase the number of adults in the state with higher education degrees to 60% by 2025. The College Changes Everything Conference is an important opportunity to help the state reach this number.
Topics that will be discussed include a consumer guide to higher education and student loans, working with non-traditional students, improving financial literacy, supporting special student populations, and much more.
