The Office of Employment & Training invites you to provide feedback on the Department of Labor's request for information regarding sector strategies and partnership models. We have created a survey to seek input from all stakeholders directly and indirectly in economic and workforce development.

Sector strategies are essential for aligning the skilled workforce to in-demand industries. Sector strategies are also a key element of a Career Pathways System. It is important for employers to collaborate with the development of education and training to ensure that essential skills and competencies are developed for the industry. The U.S. Department of Labor's Employment and Training Administration (ETA) is requesting this information to help develop sustainable and scalable sector strategies through the experiences of key stakeholders in local and regional economies.  The feedback received by ETA will refine policy responses, technical assistance, and workforce development needs and inform the design of future grants. This survey will allow us to disseminate the sector strategies and challenges we are experiencing here in Illinois. Your input is respected and will be used to create current, and future training needs in critical industries, as well as incorporate equity and worker voice into the training design.

Please complete this survey and forward it to all relevant stakeholders. The survey will close at 5 p.m. on March 17, 2023.
