July 13 is the College Changes Everything Conference. Started by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC), this annual conference is an opportunity for individuals to share how their college or higher education experience has made a lasting and positive impact in their lives. The conference will provide presentations about resources that are available to increase educational access and college completion for students in Illinois. Illinois hopes to increase the number of adults in the state with higher education degrees to 60% by 2025. The College Changes Everything Conference is an important opportunity to help the state reach this number.
This year's theme is DEIA: The Work We Need to Do. Other topics include: Expanding College Access and Success for Latino Students and their Families, Equity in Higher Education: Setting Priorities for the Higher Education System, Supporting Student Wellness and Mental Health at Illinois Community Colleges, and much more.
