Use the effective date range to find policies in effect for a prescribed period. For example if you were to enter a start date of 1/1/2010 and an end date of 6/1/2010, you would get all policies that were in effect before 6/1/2010 and expired after 1/1/2010.

Note: you should select All for the Policy Active Status when doing an effective date range search in order to include policies that may be expired now but were in effect during the requested date range.
